Western Bedding

Western bedding is available in several different styles and colors to fit the needs of any western themed bedroom. While there is a variety of styles and patterns available, most Western bedding comes with variations of one major color scheme that includes terracotta and sandy like browns, with gold, navy blue, and greens. You will not find a Western bedding set that features any bright  or pastel colors, because bright and pastel colors do not go with any western theme. When trying to find colors and décor for your western room, think nature. If you can't find the color there, skip it in the room so you get a more authentic feel.

Western bedding sets may feature a few different patterns, but the most common you will see will likely be dark plaid or feature stripes. This makes Western bedding a fairly popular choice for décor in many bedrooms. Other Western bedding patterns will feature Western things such as cowboys, lassos, bandannas, and cacti as well. If you find any of these elements in your Western bedding choices, you may be able to work them into the room with other décor elements, such as a few small cactus plants in the room.

If you are looking to add more of a Western feel to your bedroom than the  Western bedding has to offer, try using fringe. Fringe is definitely popular with the western fashion, and this can transfer to the bedroom as well. Much of the Western world uses leather and bead work for their clothing. If you need an extra touch with your Western bedding try doing your own embroidery. You can do this on pillow cases or make your own scenes to hang on the walls in the room. Use a wooden headboard and rustic lamps to tie it all together.
